DC Latino Caucus Ex-Officio Election

The DC Latino Caucus will be holding an election for two ex-officio seats (one male, one female) at the same time as our previously announced endorsement vote activities on April 18. The ex-officios are members of the DCLC board of directors and represent the DCLC before the Democratic State Committee (DCDSC). The DCDSC constitution describes the roles and responsibilities of ex-officios.

Ex-officio candidates must be a member of our PAC at least 30 days prior to the vote.If you are interested in running for one of the ex-officio seats, please provide the following to information@dclc.org no later than March 18, 2020:

1. A statement of biography, background and experience that would be brought to the ex-officio position

2. A statement of what the candidate would like to contribute to DCLC and as the organization's representative before the DCDSC.

3. If previously an ex-officio, a statement of ex-officio contributions and accomplishments

4. The candidate's resume

5. Copy of voter registration card or a printout from the DC Board of Elections (https://www.dcboe.org/Voters/Register-To-Vote/Check-Voter-Registration-Status) showing proof of DC residency, being registered as a Democrat, and registered to vote.

As per our PAC procedures, interested applicants will be evaluated by our DCLC PAC Committee. The committee will nominate candidates from among the applicants to run for the positions.
