The Councilmember joins us to speak about "B24-0371 The Ward Redistricting Amendment Act of 2021," the ongoing Ward and ANC redistricting process, and the ramifications for the District.

DC Latino Caucus General Meeting with Special Guest Councilmember Brianne K. Nadeau
The DC Latino Caucus welcomes Ward 1 Councilmember Brianne K. Nadeau as our special guest for our September 21 General Meeting. Topics to be discussed include the Local Resident Voting Rights Amendment Act of 2021. The act would allow permanent residents the right to vote in local elections.

March On for Voting Rights
Voting rights are being threatened across the nation. The DC Latino Caucus, along with organizations from across the region, will be participating in the March On for Voting Rights this Saturday, August 28.
The Caucus welcomes members and friends to join our contingent. *Participants have the chance to receive a complimentary DC Latino Caucus t-shirt.
Deadline to Submit the DC Latino Caucus Policy Issues Survey
The DC Latino Caucus has created a survey to help identify the local and national policy issues that are most important to you. The results will allow the DCLC board and committees to identify your top priorities (subsequent surveys may focus on a specific topic). The response to the survey to date has been excellent. In order to begin analyzing the data, the DC Latino Caucus will close the survey at 11:59 PM this Wednesday, August 18.
